Re-ordering update
Monday, August 4th, 2008The majority of the work has now been completed, and the new stage is looking great. There are few areas that need tidying up and this work should be completed in the next couple of weeks.

After several years the re-ordering of the stage area is now in progress. It is expected to be completed by the end of July. The new chairs have arrived, and are now being used.
You are welcome to come try the new chairs on any Sunday, or we are planning to have an ‘Open Day’ in September.
On Saturday 22nd March we willbe having a free fun morning on Sea Mills Square. It will be running from 9am until 12 noon, and there will be a cafe, bouncy castle, crafts and more. we hope you can join us as we celebrate Easter together.

Easter is one of the most important times of the year for Christians, and we will be having a range of events and services to help us remember Jesus’ death and celebrate his resurrection.

Every year we like to run a holiday club for children from 3 years old to the end of Infant school. In previous years this has been during the Easter holidays.The clubs are great fun, with lots of games, stories, craft and plenty of fun.
THis year, the dates of the Easter holidays mean that we are unable to run it then. Instead, we are planning to run our holiday club towards the end of August. We will post the dates here as soon as they are confirmed.

On Friday 29th February, at 7:45pm, St Edyth’s will be hosting one of our ever-popular Woman 2 Woman evenings. This time it will be an evening of pampering ourselves with make-up and manicures. There will also be a talk about self esteem, by Caroline Virgo, of Hope’s Place. Fruit coctails and nibbles will be served on arrival, with tea, coffee and cakes to finish.

As the Alpha course has drawn to a close, we are holding a reunion on Tuesday 15th January 2008. An opportunity to catch up with people after Christmas, eat together, hear more about the Christian faith and to ask more questions.
On Saturday 15th December we want to wish the residents of Sea Mills and Coombe Dingle a Happy Christmas with mince pies and tea and coffee. Come and join us between 10am and 12 noon, we look forward to seeing you there.
There will be a Woman 2 Woman Christmas Craft evening on Friday 16th November from 7:45pm at St Edyth’s Church. All are welcome to this fun evening of craft activities and relaxation over a glass of mulled wine and nibbles.

Come and join the ‘World’s biggest coffee morning’ on Friday 28th September in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Coffee and cake will be served in the church between 10am and 12 noon. Everyone is welcome.
