Holiday clubs
We run a Holiday Club once a year; this is normally in the Easter school holidays. The Club takes place over 4 mornings and is for infant school age children, with a similar Club taking place simultaneously for junior school age children at St. Mary’s Church in Stoke Bishop. As with Chirp ‘n’ Chomp, our aim is to have lots of fun, get a bit messy, make friends and learn about following Jesus.
Holiday club 2007
In 2007 our holiday club ran from Tuesday 10th-Friday 13th April, with a special service on Sunday 15th to round things off and celebrate the time we have had together. Our theme for the week was Mission Miracle Maker, and the church was transformed into a spaceship orbiting above earth. Over the week we learned all about the man Jesus and the amazing things that he could do.
Holiday club 2008
In 2008 we very much regret that we are having to cancel the Holiday club for this year. A combination of strange holiday dates and key people being away has meant that we wouldn’t be able to do it well. We hope very much to be back next year with a wonderful week for you to enjoy.
