St Edyth’s Church aims to glorify God through:
Worship
We are God centred and aim to worship God together in our Sunday services and through all our church activities, as well as in our individual lives.
Making Jesus Christ and His love known in the community and beyond
Jesus has called His church to be witnesses in the local community and beyond, even to the ends of the earth (Acts 1 v 8). We aim to reach out with the love of God to our community of Sea Mills and Coombe Dingle through church and community activities. We also maintain support by prayer, finance and interest for six mission links.
Encouraging and helping one another
As a body of believers we aim to support one another by prayer ministry and pastoral care.
Discovering God’s purpose for our lives
We believe that God has a purpose for each of our lives, both corporately and individually. As we worship, witness and encourage one another we pray that we will move forward in His perfect will (Romans 12 v 1-2).
