We believe the purpose of having this Parish Centre is: “To strengthen the contribution of St Edyth’s to God’s work in Sea Mills, Coombe Dingle and beyond, including the improvement of contacts with and practical service to the community, leading to opportunities for spiritual outreach”.


The Centre has been designed for full use by the community and has the following facilities:

Please note that all our upper rooms are only accessible via stairs – there is no disabled access to them.

Booking Requirements: All bookings are subject to the approval of the Church in accordance with the purpose of the Parish Centre as set out above. We reserve the right to refuse any booking request considered unsuitable, such as activities or groups that come into conflict with our Christian ethos and values. (This includes Yoga and Tai Chi classes, and Halloween themed events).

Kitchen – fully equipped with hatch for serving – 30m² – For hire price see below.
Capacity – When cooking is taking place, 6 – When prep or cleaning is taking place, 10.
Prices do not include consumables like tea, coffee, milk, table cloths, napkins or disposable cups, plates, etc. 












Light Use – Hire price per session for light use: £10.00 (which covers the first 3 hours) then £3.50 per hour, or £35 for whole day (12+ hours).
This is for light refreshments, e.g. tea/coffee, cold lunches, buffets and includes use of the hot water urn, kettles (if needed), tea pots, mugs, cups/saucers, glasses, jugs, side plates, cutlery, washing up facilities/dishwasher and you may use the fridge for storage of things like milk. 

Heavy Use –  Hire price per session for heavy use: £18.00 (which covers the first 3 hours) then £6.50 per hour, or £55 for whole day (12+ hours).
This is for heavier catering – hot food, banquets, baking and includes use of all crockery including dinner plates, cutlery, glassware, urn/kettles, tea pots, coffee machine (customer must supply their own filter coffee). Also includes use of the cookers and hobs, microwave, fridge for storage of food/drinks. Plus all washing up/cleaning/dishwasher facilities.
