Following Jesus, Bringing hope

I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.
I was a stranger and you invited me in.
Matthew 25:35

Welcome to the Bristol North West Foodbank Website. We are a Christian Charity and are affiliated to the Trussell Trust network of over 430 Foodbanks across the UK.

We opened in March 2011 and have helped over 32 250 people in crisis during that time with the provision of emergency food parcels.  A crisis may come in many forms, such as benefit changes, debt, redundancy, ill-health, family break up or just unexpected large bills.

All our clients are referred to us by local care agencies who identify individuals and families in crisis.  Anyone in crisis from North West Bristol stretching from Avonmouth to Henbury, Hotwells to Lawrence Weston and areas in between can have access to our Foodbank.

The Foodbank not only gives out food, it also provides signposting help to other services as well as offering access to our Foodbank Advice Service and our Cookery and budgeting course, “Eat Well, Spend Less”.  We may also be able to offer home delivery if you are housebound and we also have a new HomeBank service which may be able to assist you with basic household goods if you are in a crisis.
